LGFA Blitz

A very busy Saturday morning in Bunbrosna saw us play host to U8 and U10 LGFA Blitzes involving teams from Milltownpass, Loughnavalley, St Lomans, St Joseph’s, Kinnegad and Tyrellspass. This was a fantastic morning of football played under blazing sunshine and very well done to all of the players and coaches for a brilliant display!!!

A special word of thanks to our Young whistlers Niamh, Béibhinn and Kate who took charge of the games and performed brilliantly.

A sincere word of thanks to Mary Finnan who looked after the tea, coffee and refreshments this morning and which was very much appreciated by all.

Once again our parking crew had everything working very smoothly and efficiently in the car parks. Thank you Jimmy Finnan, Jimmy McCormack, Michael Beglan, and John Tormey.

Thanks to John Tormey for all of the work in lining out the pitch and helping to have it look so well.

Our sincere thanks to all of the coaches who organised everything this morning and had plans circulated to the clubs in advance. Some of the hardest work happens behind the scenes days before a ball is kicked and Eoin Clarke and Roisín Foy had everything looked after for all the teams.

A special thank you to Róisín Foy, Damien McCormack, Martha Maguire and Susan Reynolds for all of their work in coaching these groups and to Roisin in particular for helping to look after both teams today.

Finally, thank you to all of the teams that travelled to Bun on Saturday, we hope you enjoyed your morning!!
